Why green?

Globalization has taught us that everything we do has an impact somewhere. The activities from one side of the planet can affect countries that are an ocean away. But why should you care? Why is it so important that we “go green”?

A lot of people think “going green” means recycling, planting trees, and taking care of the environment. What they don't realize is that it also means taking care of your own body and personal well-being. By treating yourself to organic body products instead of chemically-infused ones, you are not just doing the environment a favor, but also yourself.

Being a more eco-friendly individual can and will positively impact the globe. Doing something as simple as choosing to buy organic cotton instead of regular cotton (which happens to be one of the most chemically-dependent crops in the world) can reduce pollution thousands of miles away. Choosing to purchase green can also help protect wildlife and their habits, keep oceans clean, reduce landfill waste and much, much more.

Just as you can improve your own health and well-being with green products, you can also improve the health and well-being of others. By buying fair trade products, you ensure that products aren't made in sweatshops and thus improve the quality of human life in developing worlds. When something is made in the USA, it means that the labor laws of the USA apply, and that workers are treated fairly.

The impact that humans have on the Earth is enormous. Whether that impact is good or bad is up to you.
